Reaction Time Measurement

The Ledsreact Pro excels in measuring reaction time, a critical component of agility. Using integrated LED and audio cues, the system precisely quantifies the interval between a stimulus and the athlete's initial movement. Our system defines reaction time as the duration from the start signal (visual and auditory) to the first detected movement. False starts (movements initiated faster than 100ms) are flagged, aligning with international athletic standards. The optional 'random start' mode (delaying the signal by 1-2 seconds) helps minimize anticipatory movements. The system can be used to assess Simple Reaction Time (SRT - response to a single stimulus) and can be configured for drills involving Choice Reaction Time (CRT - deciding between multiple stimuli/responses). Expected reaction times vary (e.g., Elite SRT 100-120ms; Agility CRT 150-200ms). Note that reaction time is not measured in player-initiated mode.
